Transforming Concrete into Stone: A Recent Project by Untitled Painting Co.

At Untitled Painting Co., we specialize in bringing our clients' visions to life through custom interior and exterior paint jobs. Our latest project, an exterior transformation for a private residence, was a perfect example of the artistry and precision we bring to each job.

This project involved painting formed precast concrete, crafted to mimic the appearance of stonework. Our task was to ensure that this concrete seamlessly blended with the natural stonework already present on other buildings on the property. This required not only a keen eye for detail but also an understanding of color matching and texture replication.

The building was power washed, primed and top coated before the custom painting work began.

We began by carefully studying the existing stonework. Each stone had its own unique color variations, textures, and patterns. Our goal was to create an effiecent process to replicate these nuances on the precast concrete, creating a cohesive and natural look. Using Loxon masonry primer and Emerald exterior paint from Sherwin Williams, we meticulously applied layers of color to mimic the depth and character of real stone.

Most of the detail work was completed with a 1” artist brush and a 4” mini roller with rags.

The result was stunning. The painted concrete creates a unified and harmonious appearance across the property. The homeowners were thrilled with the outcome, and we were proud to have delivered a project that showcased our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

At Untitled Painting Co., we believe in the power of paint to transform spaces. Whether it’s an interior makeover or an exterior project like this one, we bring passion and expertise to every job. If you're looking to enhance your home with custom paintwork, we’re here to make your vision a reality.
